OUR STORY

We have a personal passion for justice. Candace and Judith were both raised and educated on the east side of Vancouver. We each pursued careers in law before joining forces: Candace as a sole practitioner and Judith in various-sized law firms. We joined forces in 2012 and since then, we’ve assembled a team of like-minded lawyers who dig deep to find creative solutions to complex conflicts.

WHY THE NAME “ONYX”?

Our namesake is the Onyx gemstone which is known for its ability to heal sorrow and grief. It was worn to diffuse tension and defend against negativity by fortifying self-confidence and sharpening the senses. By calling ourselves Onyx, what we’re saying is simple – we will support you, build your confidence and defend you.
